nerd love for michael cera <3

Okay, even though I'm starting to sound like a teenybopper, professing my love for every passing musician/actor/guy on the subway, let me take a minute to say that Michael Cera is adorbs. Andrea will back me up on this fo' sho.  

Anyway, his new flick Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist hits theaters October 3, and I might just cough up the $15 it takes to see a movie in NY for this one.  Not only does the film promise a whole bunch of teen hijinks in and around the Manhattan music scene, but the soundtrack (out 9/23) is pretty stacked.  The tracklist boasts some of the best bands indie music has to offer.

I know this song is old, but vintage is in.

The first couple episodes of Entourage's fifth season have left me quite underwhelmed.  Even Ari Gold's insults, which usually get me all hot and bothered, just aren't doing it for me.  But during the last 60 seconds of episode two, I perked up.

As Vince and his friends drive off and the credits roll, Phoenix's "If I Ever Feel Better" begins to play.  I'll freely admit that this song was released as a single seven years ago, but it still feels current, effortlessly blending disco riffs with clean, fast lyrics.  Listen on their Myspace here.
